a day of unproductivity

why is it so hard getting back into academics after holidays? i've descended to a new low with reading up celebrity gossip online +_+ - i don't even know why i'm bothering to announce something like that here. well, this just goes to show that self discipline is truly a muscle. and to extend that metaphor, yes, mine has atrophied to a clump of measly nerves.

all i want to do is sleep...and start again tomorrow. but i already did that this morning, and it didn't work. what now. i suspect that this sleepiness is psychosomatic, and probably intensified by jetlag. ugh. okay. will write introduction before i sleep.

haha laurane deleted that post herself because her computer keeps spamming double comments (which is kind of funny)!

throwing yourself into French...noble endeavour. but i think you should just have fun!! (what crunchtime?! lol you're in France!) as for the Americans, well, sometimes you have to step away from 'home' to know it ey? :)

My young footballing friend, listen to your brother. He's right about me... I'm THE BEST!!

Haah!! Anyways, wow... that's so lame "celebrity gossip". Please lah, save yourself from that nonsense bullcrap. It's a total waste of time and will in no way help you in the near future. (And the gossip is not even solid! Why waste precious time on something that can be false?)

all right, just to clarify, Mr. Carrick - reading celebrity gossip online was just a singular incident. most of the time i take my essay plans with me to bed and i sit there thinking about my work before going to sleep. TAKE THAT!
